July Wrap-Up

Lazy days of summer? Not for Hilltop Bio! Here’s what we’ve been up to this month…

Our New Sponsored Rider: Liz Halliday-Sharp!

We are thrilled and honored to announce our newest sponsored rider, Liz Halliday-Sharp – HS Eventing! Liz is a former professional race car driver and now 5* level eventing rider. Originally from California, she is now based in Lexington, KY and Ocala, FL. Liz has 8 international wins under her belt this year (and 13 last year!), most recently finishing 5th individually and earning a silver medal with Team USA at SAP Cup CCIO4*-S at CHIO Aachen.

Liz is a force to be reckoned with in the eventing world and we couldn’t be more excited to support her and her horses through Hilltop Bio. Here’s Liz competing at the 2023 Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5L with DeNiro Z- thank you Shannon Brinkman for the incredible photos!

Making Connections

We took a break from our monthly Free Webinar Series but had the pleasure of participating in From the Ground Up: an In-Person meeting of Farriers, Veterinarians and Footing Experts presented by NW Equine Performance and the Equine High Performance Sports Group.

Spotlight on Exceptional People

Each month, Hilltop Bio honors a different veterinary technician for their outstanding commitment and service. Our July honoree is Chai Toren of Northwest Equine Performance in Mulino, OR. Thanks for all you do, Chai!

Chai has been a CVT for 22 years and now thinks of NW Equine Performance as her home.

Chai told us, “I am lucky to be a part of a forward-thinking team that has the whole horse in mind…  I love watching these amazing athletes return to competition.”

Up Next…

We’ll be book-ending August with two great conferences, starting off with TEVA’s Summer CE Symposium in Fort Worth, TX (stop by and say ‘Hi’ at booth #33!) and ending with the Equine Sports Medicine Symposium in Pittsboro, NC. In between, we’ll host another in our Free Live Webinar Series, this time featuring Dr. Jessica Martin. Registration is now open! Finally, Hilltop Bio will once again be sponsoring the Exhibitor Lounge at the Great Meadow International. Stop by to meet our team or catch them as they make the rounds on the Hilltop Bio Snack Cart!

That’s a wrap for July. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
