Darby Freeman, Director - Commercial Operations
Darby Freeman serves as current Director of Commercial Operations at Hilltop Bio, bringing over 20 years of expertise in the animal health industry. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership in sales operations, strategic partnerships, and commercial excellence across both equine and companion animal markets..
Her previous experience spans roles in increasing responsibility at leading animal health companies including Butterfly Network, KindredBio Pharmaceuticals, and Luitpold Pharmaceuticals. She has consistently exceeded sales targets, earned multiple recognitions, including Presidents' Club Award recipient, and successfully launched FDA-approved products while building strong relationships with veterinary professionals nationwide.
Darby holds a Master of Science in Agribusiness from Tarleton State University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Stephen F. Austin State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude from both programs. She remains actively engaged in the animal health community as a member of AAEVT, VTAT, AQHA, and WILMAH (Women in Leadership and Management in Animal Health).
