Shevawn Hardesty, CFO
Shevawn Hardesty is the Chief Financial Officer at Hilltop BioSciences, bringing over 25 years of financial leadership experience with technology and emerging growth companies. She has served as CFO — both on staff and in a consulting capacity — for over 15 years, closing more than ten rounds of venture funding totaling over $75 million while also securing debt and strategic financing.
Shevawn has a proven track record of building company value from early-stage financing through successful acquisition. She has been part of management teams that delivered favorable exits to public company acquirers, including transactions involving MerlinOne (acquired by Canto), Careport Health (acquired by Allscripts), AnyDay.com (acquired by Palm for $80 million), and several others across SaaS, clean tech, and microelectronics sectors.
Earlier in her career, Shevawn held senior financial roles at Fidelity Investments, Fleet Bank, and Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and began her career on the audit staff at Ernst & Young. She holds a BSBA from Boston University and previously held a CPA license in New York State.
At Hilltop BioSciences, Shevawn oversees all financial operations and strategic planning, as well as capital raising.
